Habanos, S.A. has won another court positive decision concerning Cuban geographical indications in relation to cigars.  The Spaniard Supreme Court has declared null the trademark HERENCIA CUBANA due to it is geographically deceptively misdescriptive. The brand is linked to cigars that are non- Cuban origin.

Habanos, S.A is the only Cuban company allowed to distribute the prestigious Habanos all over the world. This decision constitutes another derived success from the solid strategy developed by Habanos, S.A. in defence of the Cuban cigar brands.
